Orange (VA) star Quintin Hunter is one of Virginia's most versatile recruits, having starred at defensive back, wide receiver and, for the past two years, quarterback for the Hornets varsity football squad. The 6-2, 190-pound senior earned first-team AP all-state honors for his play as a defensive back in 2008, but he projects as a quarterback/wide receiver for the Cavaliers.

Less than one week after a surprising overtime win at Georgia Tech, the Virginia men's basketball team produced another head scratcher Saturday against Xavier. Inconsistent defense and sluggish offense led to a huge deficit - the 16-point halftime margin was the largest of the season - and the Cavaliers never recovered against the Musketeers, who eventually picked up a deceptively close 84-70 victory.
Robinson (Fairfax, VA) defensive end Jordan Stanton, a 6-4, 240-pound prospect with sub-4.6 speed in the 40, took unofficial visits to Virginia and Virginia Tech in late November, checking out UVa's home finale against Clemson and Virginia Tech's victory over Virginia. Stanton boasts official scholarship offers from James Madison and Old Dominion, but has either of the two in-state ACC programs come through since those visits?
